Sorry for the lack of updates – I’ve been incredible busy in the past few weeks with my projects and also there’s a lot of stuff going on over at Jamba. Maybe some of you have heard: A few weeks ago Jamba has been fully acquired by News Corporation. And as you can image this brings again a lot of work and of course changes to be tackled. weiterlesen

Next week the Web 2.0 Expo will make it’s 2008-stop in Berlin again, starting on Tuesday (October 21st) up to and including Thursday (October 23rd). Even though it was more or less boring the previous year I’ll be there again – basically just to meet business partners, colleagues and friends. weiterlesen

As you probably have seen I already blogged some pictures from Google Developer Day 2008 in Munich. This year the dev-day took place at ICM (which is the congress center of Munich). According to Google there have been 550 developers (17 of them were female… yeah, right…) attending to 21 sessions. weiterlesen

As you all probably know I’m not the kind of recap-writing guy – I simply do not have the time and also am way too lazy for that. On September 17th and 18th 2008 there will be another edition of “Online Marketing Düsseldorf” (more commonly known as “OMD”). For Germany this should be one of the biggest (online marketing-) network events of the year so of course I’ll be there as well.

I’m currently on my way back from Hamburg to Berlin where I attend to the Search Engine Strategies Conference 2008. Last years SES was held in Munich, now they moved over to Hamburg. Originally it was planned to do SES 2008 in Mai (just a day after SMX 2008) which would have been completely stupid. It was absolutely the right move to change the location and also the date of the event. weiterlesen

SMX Advanced 08 has just been ended and must admit that it was a really great show. Amazing sessions! Yesterday, the conference was opened by Danny Sullivan and Microsoft’s Kevin Johnson (he is President of the Platform & Services Division) – a nice warm-up. Continuing the day I completely stayed at the SEO organic track covering the following topics. weiterlesen

Just wanna say “Hi” from Seattle. Arrived yesterday evening after 14 hours of flight (from Berlin to London and then over to Seattle). Till now everything went really smoothly. I’m staying at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront which is pretty nice. After a short refreshment I went up to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center where the SMX Advanced conference will be held. Seems to be very well organized (as always) – I picked up my badge and after a short break headed over to the first party: SMX Presents “In The Park” with Microsoft – cool location, nice drinks and finger food. A promising start – let’s see how to conference will be. I’m gonna have breakfast now
