Customize Google SERPs

I was really annoyed by constantly having to count ranking positions at Google SERPs and because of that I was searching for some kind of a plug-in to do that for me. I stumbled upon a few Greasemonkey (which is really cool by the way) scripts but all of them were massively slowing down my laptop. Digging further I finally came up with a solution called CustomizeGoogle – this handy add-on for Firefox does a lot of nice things like:

  • Anonymize results
  • Removing click tracking links and ads
  • Secure Gmail and Google Calendar by switching to HTTPS
  • Add favicons and result numbers in the web search results
  • And a lot more…

A really great add-on which saves me a lot of time – it’s definitely worth checking it out!
